Soup Logic started the way a lot of good ideas do — out of frustration. After decades working in the construction and field service industry, the same problems kept showing up: hours tracked on paper that disappeared, tools and equipment nobody could find, and software that was either too expensive or too complicated for the people who actually needed it. The enterprise solutions out there were built by tech companies selling to office workers, not by anyone who'd ever managed a crew in the field. So we built our own tools. We used them ourselves. They worked. Soup Logic exists to put practical, no-nonsense business software in the hands of the people who build things — at a price that makes sense for a 30-person company, not a 3,000-person one.
